1. Before the basket equipment is shipped out, the following parts must be inspected for safety performance.

1) Limit device and brake device

2) Security lock

3) Lifting device (including manual lifting device)

4) Wire rope anti-loose device

5) Electrical safety device

6) Is the fastener loose?

7) Whether the weld is cracked

8) Whether the moving parts are stuck or not

9) Is there enough oil in the gearbox and transmission?

10) The load test shall be carried out at 125% of the approved load (uniform load)

2. The basket equipment shall be inspected and qualified by the legally recognized inspection and testing institution and obtained the safety certificate before being put into use.

3. Check the equipment before starting work every day to ensure that the equipment is used under normal and safe conditions and make inspection records.

4. The basket equipment should be inspected regularly during actual use:

1) After two weeks of actual work, the steel wire rope shall be inspected according to the provisions of 2.4.1 and 2.4.2 of GB5972.

2) The semi-prepared basket should be checked for safety performance every six months:

a) Disassemble the parts and inspect the rust and wear, deformation and damage of the loaded parts;

b) Reliability of electrical devices and components.

5. Maintenance

1) If the basket is faulty or abnormal during operation, it should be immediately stopped and replaced by a full-time staff.

2) It is not allowed to overhaul the gondola in the air. In special cases, reliable safety measures should be taken for inspection.

3) Problems should be promptly repaired during routine inspections and periodic inspections.

4) After the end of each day's work, the cleaning work of the suspension platform and wire rope should be done.

5) Regularly refuel the moving and friction components according to the lubricating oil specified in the manual.

6) The basket should be protected from rain and water.

7) After the basket is removed, all kinds of ropes and cable reels should be well arranged and stored properly.

8) After each use of the self-locking hook, anti-rust oil should be added at the spring.

9) Wire rope scrapping shall be carried out in accordance with 2.5 of GB5972.

2. Treatment measures in case of emergency

1. When the power failure causes the operation to be impossible (including the power failure due to the disconnection of the power cable) When the power is cut off, the work platform can be lifted and lowered in a small range by manual operation.

1) Turn off the power of the control box (turn the leakage circuit breaker switch to OFF) and unplug the power cable.

2) After reaching the position, the electromagnetic motor brake must be tightened (reduced) and the handle removed.

2. When the wire rope is abnormal

If the main wire rope is twisted, staggered and caught in the hoist, or foreign matter such as plastic paper is caught in the hoist, the hoisting motor will make a noise, and the rise and fall will become irregular and even stop suddenly. At this point, the equipment must be stopped immediately (including manual operation) and the technician should be notified immediately for repair.

Note: Under normal circumstances, if the basket equipment fails, the basket operator must immediately stop using it and notify the basket technician to carry out the inspection.
