According to foreign media, in order to meet the growing demand in the Chinese market, the German luxury car BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi will shorten the Christmas and New Year holidays.

During the Christmas to New Year period, BMW and Mercedes will only shut down the factory for a week, and Audi will shut down its European factory for two weeks. This is very different from what happened in 2009, when the automaker extended the New Year holiday to three weeks due to the declining demand.

Sales of the three German luxury cars in China in November this year all achieved growth, of which Audi sales in China increased by 69%; Mercedes-Benz increased by 24% year-on-year; BMW grew by 9.8%.

Thanks to the growth in sales volume in China and the United States, BMW's global sales increased by 6.4% year-on-year in November; Audi's global sales increased by 28% year-on-year; Mercedes-Benz's global sales increased by 8.3% year-on-year.

A spokesperson for Daimler Motors stated that the company decided to shorten the vacation due to good sales.
