"The Method for Measuring the Fuel Consumption of Heavy Commercial Vehicles" GB was approved

According to the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, from January 11 to 13, 2011, the Annual Meeting of the Whole Vehicle Subcommittee of the National Automotive Standardization Technical Committee and the Standards Review Meeting were held in Guangzhou. Representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and relevant members of the National Standards Committee, members of the vehicle sub-committee, and commercial vehicle and engine companies attended the meeting. The meeting summarized the work of the entire vehicle sub-committee in 2010 and reviewed relevant standards such as commercial vehicles, passenger vehicles, recycling, and remanufacturing.

The meeting adopted a review of the National Standard for Measuring Fuel Consumption of Heavy Commercial Vehicles. The formulation of the standard has improved China's automobile fuel consumption standard system, which is of great significance in advancing China's automobile energy-saving technological progress, effectively narrowing the gap between China's auto fuel consumption and foreign advanced levels, and promoting the healthy and sustainable development of China's auto industry.

In addition, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology together with the National Energy Administration, the Steam Research Center, the Electric Power Enterprise Association, and the Electric Science Research Institute as the main drafting units, together with automotive, electric power, and electrician-related corporate experts drafted the “Connecting Device for Conductive Charging of Electric Vehicles”. Three series of recommended national standards were also reviewed at the meeting. This standard is of great significance for improving the standard system of new energy vehicles in China, promoting the coordinated development of China's new energy vehicles, and promoting the smooth implementation of pilot demonstrations of new energy vehicles, and has a significant impact on the application of electric vehicles and the construction of charging infrastructure.
